I
2008
Early Friday morning of 2008, I vaguely remember I was scrolling through the weekly newspaper "SAPTAHIK" where I came across the interview section. The interviewer's question to that person was what do you want to be? And her answer was simply highlighted as "BATABARANBID" (environmentalist). This word was out of the sky for me at that time.
2012
After the completion of the Higher Secondary Examination Board (HSEB), word geologist struck upon my mind and I thought that I will be a geologist (i still think word geologist has a nice vibe to it).
2013
Then in 2013, I went to Trichandra College (TC) for my mission to be a geologist. While I was asking the clerk of TC, what were the procedures to join geology was, he directly asked me were you of a physical or biological group? Unfortunately, my HSEB group was biological (i still think why I didn't join the physical group) and to join the geology, a physical group was required. I sat there for about 10 minutes thinking now what should I do?
Start of the teaching career
Teaching was and still is one of my favorite things to do. The teaching phase of my career started after joining the Motherland Academy, Bulu in mid-2013. After teaching there for about 8 months, I joined National English Secondary School, Pyangaun in 2014 where I taught for 5 years.
Those five years were one of the major learning years of my life.
2014
It was the year where everything changes. I went to Patan Multiple Campus (PMC), Patan Dhoka to continue my educational journey. In the old administrative building's front door, it was handwritten in A4 paper that biological groups could only study botany, zoology, and environmental science. Without thinking for a bit, I filled up a form to join the environmental science. Within a month, I was an environmental student. One sleepless night, I suddenly remembered that I have heard about environmental science somewhere. Within a minute, I remembered the interview section that I read in 2008. Knowingly or unknowingly, that word was in my mind. Giving the smile, thoughts ran across my mind, I was meant to be an "ENVIRONMENTALIST".
